3, 2, 1...LAUNCH!

Hi everyone! Thank you SO much for stopping by and being a part of my launch. FINALLY!!!

I've been writing for a few months now, mostly testing the waters to see if blogging is the right move for me. Apparently it is cause I'm still here and still loving it.

AND I just got the job of my dreams which involves, among other things, blogging.

It's been an amazing process so far, and despite a few road bumps it continues to evolve as I do.

In any given post you might find a little sassiness, a lot of heart and soul, a small side of cheese, some dirty language (and/or thoughts), a bit of emotion (aka insanity), some amusement, and hopefully, a lot of empowerment...

But above all else, you'll find that every post you read will be real.

This blog is technically about me and my life but mostly I use myself as an example for what's possible for you and your life.

It's not always easy out there in the world so my intention with every post is to inspire and be inspired.

I've already grown leaps and bounds from where I was when I started and it's only been a few months.

So take a look around, explore the terrain and get a sense for what you'll find here. There's something for everyone and there's so much more to come.

Check out the "labels" or the monthly archives to the right.

If you like what you see, SUBSCRIBE! and spread the love by sharing littlemissmojo.com with your world of people. You can also receive posts via email.

From the bottom of my heart and soul, I thank all the amazing people who continue to show me incredible love and support.

You know who you are and I f-ing love you.

Have a great weekend!

Stalker-azzi!

Happy Monday, hope your weekend was as enjoyable as mine. Here's a quick sum up of the last few days...

-Finally got my new computer from Apple. It's teeny and tiny and I love it!

-Got last minute tickets to Paul McCartney at Yankee Stadium friday night...incredible! There were ten of us in all, a random mix of great people. I didn't know half the songs but I loved them all. It was a great summer night.

-Got last minute tickets to Book Of Mormon Saturday night, and as if that wasn't exciting enough, Oprah was there! As you may already know, if there was one celebrity I'd sell my soul to meet, it would be Lady O.

I knew ahead of time she would be there. My sister got me the tickets with that in mind. She tried a few months ago to get me tickets to one of the last shows but Oprah shortened her shooting lineup and it didn't happen. So this was the next best thing.

I was hoping there would be some magical moment where I'd get to meet her...even if it was in the bathroom. She'd be in the next stall, run out of paper and I'd come to the rescue by passing some of mine.

She'd be grateful, compliment my shoes, I'd tell her how she changed my life and then we'd become best friends forever!

It didn't happen but when we did happen to see her walking out, I strategically positioned myself next to her SUV. The only thing between me and Miss Winfrey was her big bad bodyguard. I know, I'm officially a stalker-azzi. Her head was turned the other way, but I'm pretty sure she heard me when I said "I love you Oprah." Wouldn't be surprised if my little head ends up in an US Weekly pic, peaking out behind her security detail.

(Um...after typing the line above I went to google images looking for pics of her at the show and found exactly what I envisioned! Yup, that's me all in black looking like a giddy little schoolgirl. Classic!)

The show was hysterical. Such a talented cast. Love em or hate em, those south park guys are brilliant! I felt really lucky considering tickets are sold out for months.

We literally laughed the entire time and it was quite the bonus to know Oprah was only four rows away laughing along with us.

The dog ate my homework!

As I prepared yesterday for today's re-launch, I noticed something strange happening with my mac.

The screen started flashing like a strobe light. Thought I was at a rave, circa 1995. The only thing missing was glo sticks.

I ran to the apple store thinking it was a side effect of a long needed battery replacement.

Instead, I was told the entire display needed to be replaced.

Three hours and a $2K credit card charge later, I was the proud owner of a shiny new Macbook Air.

Not what I expected but I'm rolling with it.

It's a huge investment but it's my lifeline. And I'm banking on my new company taking off with flying colors.

I'll probably get the display fixed on my current laptop anyway cause it's otherwise in great shape.

Reminds me of the car...old, cranky and unwilling to reverse, but still a ton of life left.

Takes a full week if they send it to Apple and I couldn't afford to be without a computer that long.

It already feels like an eternity and it's only been 24 hours.

In truth I've been loathing my macbook pro anyway because it's so damn heavy and I literally have knots in my shoulder from lugging it around.

The Air is super lightweight so I can take it everywhere and be able to write without an issue.

Also got my new iPhone a few days ago, so at this point I'd say Apple should do the right thing and pick up my health insurance bill.

So, unfortunately I was unable to finish the necessary prep work to launch today. My sincere apologies.

Looking forward to that early next week...finally!

Have an amazing weekend...

Come hell or high water!

So I now have this amazing job and it's sucking up a lot of time and energy. My first thought was that I wouldn't be able to do this blog anymore.

Then I remembered the way I felt after getting the job...like anything is possible.

I love my work so far and I plan on having it open more doors for me, not close them.

Where there's a will there's a way, and although it will be challenging, I intend on making it work.

So I'm going to keep blogging but I'm likely to do it less often depending on my schedule. The posts will likely be shorter and sweeter. Or maybe I'll just figure out a better system.

AND I will officially launch this Friday the 15th, even though things are still not ready.

Will they ever be? A good question to ask with anything you've been waiting on.

I'll post my blog link on my facebook page and ask you all to blast it out to anyone and everyone you think might want some MOJO in their lives.

With all the great experience I'll be getting through work, this whole operation will be running like a machine in no time.

We're still looking for office space and creating the website. Can't wait to share that with you.

Hopefully by Wednesday you'll get to see my very first blog for the company. I love it. I also should know where the office will be and what area I'll likely be moving to.

Crazy. Crazy good!

Happy 4th of July!!!

The last few days have been a whirlwind. The most amazing things have been happening.

I didn't post Friday because I was busy getting a job!!!

Yup, you are looking at the Director of Corporate Communications for Charideem, Inc., an online startup company that brings together corporate sponsors, charities & non-profits, and the public.

There are so many layers to what they're doing but the primary goal is to provide savings through donations and to act as a social networking platform so people can connect and share their do-gooding.

In the vein of Groupon and Living Social for example, they'll have special offers donated by socially responsible corporations and retailers that will then be offered to consumers at a discounted rate.

The major difference though is that 75% of the proceeds will go directly to charity!

So the consumers get a great incentive, the corporate sponsors get business and positive exposure, and the charities get to continue their missions and make positive change possible.

It's truly a win-win for all and I'm so proud, honored and psyched to be part of it. It's been so awesome to get in on the ground level and know I'm really having an impact.

It's so new the web site isn't fully functioning yet. We're going to look at office space this week.

So what will I be doing? Well, a lot from what I understand. Firstly, I'm responsible for all the copy content...blog, website, marketing campaigns, social media, press releases, etc.

I'm also the point person for publicity at the moment, which is so weird considering I have zero experience in that department.

Their attitude is...run with it! You're the right person for the job so we're not worried about anything else.

Sweet!

They've allowed me a ton of creative freedom along with all the responsibility. It's been a collaborative environment so far and I have so many ideas to help move it forward. I've never been so inspired by a job in my life.

The best part is that I know I manifested this for myself. I could've never imagined this specific job or doing something corporate.

I did know I wanted to be paid well to do what I love and that I centered my intentions, language and action around that.

And I also wanted the work to be meaningful. I wanted a way to help people and now my job is directly related to that.

Take a look at my posts from just a few weeks ago...it's almost scary how what I wrote is exactly what I got. Amazing.

Decisions, decisions: part I
Decisions, decisions: Part II

Hmm, next I'll take that gorgeous, hilarious, one-in-a-million man who falls madly in love with me....any day now.

Safe and Happy 4th!
xoxo
